Quick Review: NICHIDO True Colors Liquid Foundation with sunscreen

I love Liquid Foundations! I love how I could easily apply liquid foundations using a sponge or a brush.. Two things I want for a liquid foundation are the coverage and the staying power... Nichido, a local make up line offers good and affordable make up products... and as I checked their counter at Watsons, I found this...

 NICHIDO TRUE COLORS LIQUID FOUNDATION with sunscreen
Shade: Natural
 product info on the bottle and packaging....

 swatches...
************
What I like about this product:
*  Light Coverage (it won't really cover blemishes - concealer is needed)
* Sunscreen!
* It is water based.
* Doesn't cake (as long as you set it with powder)
* It provides natural satin finish (description is true!)
* a little amount goes a long way..
* The bottle packaging and the pump. Totally Hygienic!
* Affordable! It's only 268php for 30ml! Cool!

... i don't like
* the sunscreen smell!
* Staying power is not really that good. It won't stay that long.
*Texture is a bit sticky.
* It quickly dries up when you apply it using your hands. I recommend using a sponge when you apply this foundation.

How to: Depot Lipstick

I accidentally dropped 4 of my fave lipsticks recently while arranging my make up stuffs. Lipsticks were totally damaged! Huhuhu. Then, I found this little Pill Box/Container in my drawer. I bought it last month but never used it. Then an idea pop up. Depot my lipsticks! So I searched online for the best procedure on depotting these lippies.

Things you'll need:
 candle
clean spoon
alcohol (ethyl 70%)
pill box/container
tissue
clean toothpick

 these are the lippies...
(Left to Right) NYX Round Lipstick in FIG, HAUTE MELON, PURE RED, Styli-Style Timeless HEAVENLY, HBC Long Wearing Lipsheer in PINK POUT

 Sanitize the container, spoon and toothpick using alcohol. Don't forget to wash your hands thoroughly.

 then scrape off the lipstick using the spoon and toothpick...

 cooking time! hahahah

once the lipstick is melted, carefully pour the lipstick into the container...

 as easy as that! weeeeeh!

so here's the finish product!

Hope this helps!

Quick Review: UBU Pink Stippling Brush

While waiting for our flight back to Cebu from SG.
I was totally bored. So I stroll around the airport. I wanted to buy something. Definitely a remembrance of our trip to SG. Though we already bought bunch of stuffs at Chinatown. But this time, I want COSMETICS! Haha! You can't blame me ladies. It is really tempting. I am checking things that are not available in PH market.
Then this cute pink brush caught my eye! I was like... "OMG! KUYA, I MUST HAVE THIS!" (my brother was bored too so he accompanied me.. strolling... lol)

 So here it is.. I was crossing my fingers when I arrived home and tested it.

First wash and up until now, it bleeds --> PINK.. =(
No shedding. Not really that soft & I can feel light pricking everytime I use this. Still I'm using this when I apply liquid foundation. I cannot compare it to other stippling brush since this is the first stippling brush. Hehe!

This brush costs like SG$ 14, (462 pesos)

Quick Review: Nichido Kabuki Brush

my first ever kabuki brush! Searching for a kabuki brush is a bit hard. I wanted a brush that is affordable yet high quality. Then I saw this at Nichido beauty counter.  I know I am a bit makulit when it comes to checking the item and asking a lot of questions to the Sales Lady.. Good thing she's patient enough to handle it. She even let me touch the brush (like taking it out of its box/packaging) and gave me a little demo. I am totally impressed how soft this brush is! The brand name elegantly printed. Love the shiny brown handle! Perfect! This is made of Nylon. It is available Locally. No shedding and or bleeding. And the price? It is only 239pesos. This is a MUST HAVE for all Kikays out there!

MY RATING

PERFECT!
