Quick Review: Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash

PIMPLES. This is my favorite facial wash to get rid of it the soooooonest! Yeah. We all do hate breakouts! Urgh! Pimples pop out due to stress or when I am exposed to dirt and when I didn't get enough sleep. *sigh*

PRODUCT INFO:

 I have combination/oily skin. T-zone area tends to get so oily in the middle of the day. So getting those excess oil is needed. Good thing I found this product at Duty Free Philippines (SM CEBU). 177ml for $10. It took me 5 months to consume it all up. I usually use this before going to bed and I use my Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser in the morning. So when pimples attack, this product does a good job in fighting those disgusting pimples! I noticed how my pimples dried out the next day. It gets rid of acne and clears my skin gradually. It also leaves my skin feeling new, clean, and fresh as well. I can feel my skin tightens after using it.

Well.. just a little warning though. This facial wash could dry out your skin. So moisturizer is needed after using this. And moreover, this product is not suitable for people who have dry skin. This review is based on what I have experienced. Probably this  product won't work on others. I've read reviews on this product over the net and most people would not recommend this product.

Quick Review: REVLON Colorstay Foundation

 This is my favorite foundation!

REVLON COLORSTAY FOUNDATION  in (150) BUFF

SWATCHES

Why I LOVE THIS FOUNDATION sooooo much?
- It gives me the coverage that I absolutely need! It provides Medium to Heavy coverage and it is blend-able.
- No need for concealers! It covers spots!
- Perfect for my Combination/oily skin type!
- Superb staying power! It is really "COLORSTAY".
- It is affordable and available locally, though with limited shades, you can still find a way to work it out (like if the shade is lighter than your skin tone - then set it with a darker shade of powder foundation)
- with SPF 6
- Love the packaging.
- Does not feel heavy on skin.
- Non-cakey!
- A little goes a long way!

CONS?
-NONE!

But there are things you need to know and it's not that bad at all
- You'll surely don't like the smell of it. But hey! It's not that important and it will be gone once applied..
- No pump.
- It easily dries up.
- It won't remove by just using a facial cleanser alone. Make up remover/oil is needed.

Quick Review: Wet N Wild Mega Plume Mascara

 When I was still working as Customer Service Representative (Business Center CSR) in one of the biggest telecommunications company in Ph. We are required to be professionally and physically presentable. A simple make up is a must since we spend most of our time interacting with customers (especially IRATE subs! hahaha). A good friend and a colleague of mine gave this to me as her Christmas gift (DEC 2010). She knows how I love make up so much! (Thank you!) I really love this product. I did not really notice any CONS on this mascara. Until when I resigned (MARCH 2011). My family started a small business and I worked as a Tech Support (aaaw.. im an IT grad..that's why.. ).. I now work on field! A different environment! Then there, using this mascara is totally discouraging. RACCOON eyes at the end of the day!!! I look like a ZOMBIE!!!! OMG!..  From that experience, I swear I will never ever use this mascara!. This mascara only works if you are in an "air conditioned" environment.. =)) - or else it'll turn out really bad like what happened to me.. Our country's humid weather will drag the mascara down. =(
love the bristles.. It gives me the volume and length that I need... but again.. as stated above... haaaaaay... =((

Quick Review: NICHIDO True Colors Liquid Foundation with sunscreen

I love Liquid Foundations! I love how I could easily apply liquid foundations using a sponge or a brush.. Two things I want for a liquid foundation are the coverage and the staying power... Nichido, a local make up line offers good and affordable make up products... and as I checked their counter at Watsons, I found this...

 NICHIDO TRUE COLORS LIQUID FOUNDATION with sunscreen
Shade: Natural
 product info on the bottle and packaging....

 swatches...
************
What I like about this product:
*  Light Coverage (it won't really cover blemishes - concealer is needed)
* Sunscreen!
* It is water based.
* Doesn't cake (as long as you set it with powder)
* It provides natural satin finish (description is true!)
* a little amount goes a long way..
* The bottle packaging and the pump. Totally Hygienic!
* Affordable! It's only 268php for 30ml! Cool!

... i don't like
* the sunscreen smell!
* Staying power is not really that good. It won't stay that long.
*Texture is a bit sticky.
* It quickly dries up when you apply it using your hands. I recommend using a sponge when you apply this foundation.

How to: Depot Lipstick

I accidentally dropped 4 of my fave lipsticks recently while arranging my make up stuffs. Lipsticks were totally damaged! Huhuhu. Then, I found this little Pill Box/Container in my drawer. I bought it last month but never used it. Then an idea pop up. Depot my lipsticks! So I searched online for the best procedure on depotting these lippies.

Things you'll need:
 candle
clean spoon
alcohol (ethyl 70%)
pill box/container
tissue
clean toothpick

 these are the lippies...
(Left to Right) NYX Round Lipstick in FIG, HAUTE MELON, PURE RED, Styli-Style Timeless HEAVENLY, HBC Long Wearing Lipsheer in PINK POUT

 Sanitize the container, spoon and toothpick using alcohol. Don't forget to wash your hands thoroughly.

 then scrape off the lipstick using the spoon and toothpick...

 cooking time! hahahah

once the lipstick is melted, carefully pour the lipstick into the container...

 as easy as that! weeeeeh!

so here's the finish product!

Hope this helps!
